THE FIRST HOUSE OF EVERY SPIRIT BEING (MAN)

On our last update, we talked about who we truly are, and the summary of it is that we are Christians, that is our first identity.

Today, we are going to talk about the first property of every Christian which is his house. If you have been following our updates, we mentioned that the body is the house of the spirit being which is our real self.

I used the word property to tell you that you own it and it doesn’t own you, And also because am pretty sure that no individual will ever want to misuse his property talk more of his first property on earth that is very special and different from others knowing fully well that whatever happens to this particular property, happens to the owner and that it has no duplicate and cant be bought.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE TO KEEP YOUR HOUSE(BODY)?

In the real sense, human beings always try hard to keep their artificial house clean to avoid being infected. Now lets try and put this for our natural house. We as Christians should learn to keep our bodies as living sacrifice unto God, pure and holy with the full knowledge of who we are and who we represent.

We should learn to keep our houses in safe places to avoid being attacked by the wrong ones, in other words, we should learn to keep or maybe I should use the word hide our bodies in descent clothes and not exposing them to the wrong people.

DO YOU WISH TO BE CONTROLLED BY YOUR HOUSE?(BODY)

I think this is the most important aspect of this article. The house is our property, we are not its property and shouldn't be controlled by it. Let me explain; when you are meant to be reading and you choose to sleep without subduing the body, you are allowing your body(house) to control you. When you oblige to sex urge and indulge in sex, you are being controlled by your house. Procrastination is another way by which your house can control you. Over-feeding is another instance for example, when you are over fed, most times, you just have to sit at a place for hours so that the food can digest or sleep even when you have more important things to do. In that way, your house becomes your boss for hours. Etc.

DO YOU WISH TO MISUSE THE YOUR HOUSE?(BODY)

Now, before we talk about the ways one can misuse his house, we must first of all know the reason why the house was created, the reason why we are clothed with the body. We were given physical body features because it is the only means through which we can function on earth and carryout the specific duty given to us by our creator. The house can be misused in parts e.g, if you choose to leave your door or gate open at night, is either you don’t know the use of your house or that you deliberately want to misuse it.

THE MOUTH: when you lie or use hurtful words on people, you misuse the mouth.

THE EYES: the eyes can be misused when you constantly expose it to corrupt things like pornographies, nude pictures, etc.

THE BRAIN: the misuse of the brain affects the whole body (house) and the misuse of any part of the house, affects the brain. This is because, before one carries out any activity, it must first be processed in the brain. In other words, the brain is the most misused part of the house of a spirit being (man). Also, when you indulge in premarital sex, you don’t only misuse the genital organs, you misuse the whole house in general. Etc.

HOW LONG DO YOU WANT YOUR HOUSE TO LAST?

Your house can only last longer if you treat it well in accordance to the will of your creator. You can only exit your house either by your will or by the will of your creator. By your will when you decide to misuse it and by your creator’s will when God chooses to call you back to himself.

Do not think of your past life or how you have been making use of your body (house), focus more on mending it by giving your life to Christ. Focus more on the future, having at the back of your mind that every tomorrow is a future and that you will all account for everyday you live in your original house and how you live in it.

If you are reading this, God has giving you another opportunity of the next second, minute, hour and day of your life, to make proper use of the house he has giving you and to return to him fully. Make good use of it and be wise. NB; YOU CAN’T DO THIS WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT.

POSSIBILITIES In our country and societies, many things now look like they have come to stay and cannot be removed again. People have come to accept corruption and so many societal vices as a pattern of living. Parents this days do not care about what their children do to get money, all they need is their own share of the money and the gifts and names that comes with being the parent of a rich child. The quest for money has become the topic of the day and seemly the only option for survival. Guess what? I have a good news for all of us.
