Previously
on D-voice, we talked about the war we are facing in our time. There, we defined
war and stated that the war we are experiencing in this our time is the war
against the church and Christ.
Today, we
are going to highlight the ways these wars are being waged against the church
and Christ;
BOMBING AND KILLINGS IN THE CHURCH;
This
particular issue is what everyone has witnessed and kept quiet over. The
Christians are been massacred and burnt down together with their church buildings.
This is an inhumane treatment that shouldn’t be heard in our society. The
Muslims carryout this act and our government and security agencies are silent
towards it. Fellow Christians, let us rise up and say no to this wrong doing by
going down on our knees and crying for revival, forming intercessory groups
whose prayers will intercede for us and selecting a righteous leader among us
who will represent us in elections. This is because, if our leader is a
christian, this wicked act won’t be meted on us.
WAR AGAINST CHRISTIANS BY FELLOW
CHRISTIANS;
This type of
war is the worst of it all. This is because it is been waged by brothers who are meant to stand by each other
against the whiles of non-Christians and the devil.
Here, some
churches leave the message of salvation which they are meant to preach and
rather, they preach against other churches to their members. Men who claim to
be Christ followers publicly curse men of God. Men who were meant to be their
representatives, forgetting that judgement is meant for God.
Now this is the bitter truth, yes, some men of
God who we look up-to might have flaws which is normal because they are flesh
but then who are we to judge them when we have not prayed for them, Do we know
the amount of physical and spiritual temptations and trials they pass through just
because they are our pastors and priests? Do we know the amount of sacrifices
they make everyday in-order to keep our faith intact? The amount of punishments
they receive just for a soul they didn’t handle well? Please dear followers of
Christ, appreciate your priest and pastors, support them in all the ways you
can and most of all, pray for them. Our prayers are the most important gifts we
can give to them.
