THE CHURCH The church firstly Is the body of our lord Jesus Christ. It is an organization set up by our lord Jesus Christ through his disciples after he ascended into heaven. It was established to continue the spread of the word of God throughout the whole universe. It is an organization, set up by the Disciples of Christ to spread the word of God and unite people to the kingdom of God by preaching the love of God to them. Coming down to our contemporary age, the body of Christ is been divided into parts which are the different churches in the whole world who serve, worship and praise God. The different churches put together, make up the body of our lord Jesus Christ. HOW THE CHURCHES SHOULD ACT The churches, been the parts that make up the body of Christ cannot perform the exact function which they are meant for individually until they acknowledge the importance of the different parts. Each and every part of Christ body has a specific function and task to perform inorder to fulfill or achieve an intended goal. So,they should accept one another in love and work together to uphold our faith. PRATICALLY For instance, the human body is made up of different parts e.g; the head, hands, legs, the eye, the nose, the tongue, etc. these different parts of the human body perform different functions and carry out different task using different means. We as human beings cannot because the eyes cannot hold unto anything like the hands and condemn it or because our head cannot walk like the legs, we condemn it . This is because, we love our parts and we understand that the different parts are needed for different functions and that the absence of any, affects the proper functioning of the other parts. This is to say that if all the churches in the whole world regardless of the denomination will understand that they all make up the body of our lord Jesus christ, they will not only love and accept each other but will assist and see to the growth of one another. Now, we are not rulling out the fact that there are fake churches whose motive are not right, but we should also understand that the sin or crime committed by them wasn’t done unto us but unto God. Therefore, we should ignore the fake ones and focus more on promoting the success of the real ones. For instance, As christ is the head part of the whole body itself, and maybe the roman catholic make up the stomach part of christ body, the Anglicans make up the hand part of christ body, the redeemers make up the leg part, etc. and the above churches hate eachother and condemns each other’s way of carrying out its function, how then can the body succeed and progress?, how can the parts together fight off attacks coming towards it? The church(es) need to cultivate love for their fellow parts so as to fight off the whiles of the devil that is creeping into the church such as; corruption inform of politics, arguments, greed, sexual immoralities, hatred, etc. we should learn not to judge one another thinking that our way is the best. Sorry to say this but until we learn to love and accommodate our brethen in christ regardless of the denomination, we cannot collectively as a christian body achieve any task and the muslim family will always penetrate and attack the christian family witout fear or prejudice. D-VOICE hereby beckon on all the christian body to come together and reason in love and understanding so that together we can achieve a mighty goal which is what Christ requires of us.
